We are happy to announce we won three Product Innovation Awards (PIA) from Architectural SSL magazine. The Arena, Scout and Verner products were all recognized in the annual competition.
The Architectural SSL Product Innovation Awards recognize innovative LED and solid-state luminaires and fixtures. With judging and evaluation of products and systems from a distinguished panel of 18 designers and lighting specialists skilled in product evaluation, the SSL PIA program awards manufacturers based on attributes, qualities, functionality and/or performance beyond industry standards.
Arena is a circular luminaire that combines a classic form with the ability to reconfigure light sources by attaching them magnetically. Arena’s innovative magnetic ring enables users to snap on or snap off light sources at will. Each light source is equipped with strong neodymium magnets that form a safe, low voltage connection to the Arena ring. Users can move, spread evenly, gang, flip up or down, pivot, or aim light sources without tools or an electrician. Arena was previously included in the IES Progress Report 2019.
With nearly 20,000 combinations of color, size, functionality and geometry, the Scout family is a powerful design asset for specifiers. Cylindrical in shape, the Scout has a simple, clean aesthetic with no visible seams or hardware. It is available in three lengths (6.25”, 10.5” and 18”), and two diameters (2.75” and 4.5”). Standard colors for the product family are pale green, gray, navy blue, black and white.
Verner is a new take on a modern yet timeless shape with clean lines and simplicity, Verner’s contemporary look is completed with a classic spherical diffuser. The cone-like shade ensures that light is directed downwards and is therefore suited to applications where designers want to avoid indirect light illuminating the ceiling. Verner is designed for applications where a high output of downlight is required as much as a simple decorative element. Verner was recognized with a Red Dot award earlier this year.
Eureka has a record of success with the PIAs, having fifteen products recognized as winners in the previous five years.
