Eureka Re-thinks Mika Family

Eureka Re-thinks Mika Family

Iconic luminaire enhances output, and adds colors and shades

Montreal, August 20, 2026 Eureka, an established leader in decorative lighting solutions, today announced an expansion of its popular Mika family. The globe luminaire has a new size, enhanced output, and a range of accessories, including RGBW illumination—Mika Colors and Mika Gradient, and decorative shades—Mika Flare.

Eureka has updated the Mika sphere to increase lumen output across the collection by 140% so at its highest, Mika now delivers up to 4850 lumens. Specifiers can now choose from four sizes—8”, 12”, 16”, and the new 20” diameter—with low, regular, and high output options. All Mika fixtures now use the same improved light engines, providing consistent illumination when multiple sizes are installed in the same space. Mounting options have also been updated to include braided color cables.

Mika Colors and Mika Gradient are new to the collection. Mika Colors can be programmed to transform the globe with any color in the RGBW spectrum. Mika Gradient divides the globe into two independently controlled RGBW hemispheres, allowing each side to display a different color while smoothly blending them together.

Mika Flare features conical aluminum or acrylic shades, available in a variety of colors and sizes. Designers may select Mika Flare in aluminum in 14 colors, including a new anodized silver. Mika Flare in acrylic comes in retro-inspired amber or green. At their largest, the shades can span up to a 42" diameter.
