Large-scale 3D printed luminaire recognized as significant contributor to the science of lighting
Montreal, August 14, 2026 – Eureka®, an established leader in decorative lighting solutions, is pleased to announce its River family of luminaires has been selected for inclusion in the 2026 IES Industry Progress Report.
Published by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), the IES Industry Progress Report recognizes unique and significant advancements to the art and science of lighting worldwide. Acceptance in the Progress Report is based on an impartial judging process by the Committee, which evaluates each submission on its uniqueness, innovation, and significance to the lighting industry.
River is made with a transparent 3D-printed polymer that creates a signature ridged body. Inside, an LED tube provides continuous illumination of up to 400 lumens per foot. The family features a range of pendant and surface-mount fixtures. Thirteen eye-catching sizes and shapes may be selected, including linear, square, oblong, ring, lagoon, or freeform. And River’s metal brackets bring a deliberate hit of color, with 16 possible hues.
This year’s report was released at the IES Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. All winning entries will also be included in the November 2026 issue of LD+A Magazine.
