Eureka® , an established leader in decorative lighting solutions, is pleased to announce that its Henri, Knit, and Quadrant luminaires have each received a 2021 Product Innovation Award (PIA) from Architectural Products magazine.
The PIA recognizes innovative products and applications from across the design and construction spectrum. A distinguished panel of 19 designers and lighting specialists, skilled in product evaluation, judge and evaluate the entries. Manufacturers of products and systems are awarded based on attributes, qualities, functionality, and/or performance beyond industry standards.
Henri is a contemporary pendant offering a generous amount of direct illumination. Individual pendants can illuminate an informal meeting space or serve as a centerpiece above a seating area. Designers can also group the fixtures in linear or organic arrays to create a unique effect in high-volume spaces. High-performance LEDs offer superior performance, and a translucent diffuser provides uniform illumination.
Knit and Quadrant are acoustic luminaires intended for areas where noise is a concern, including high or unfinished ceilings, open offices, or corridors with a hard floor finish. The shades on each fixture are constructed with sound-absorbing recycled PET felt that increases acoustic comfort in a space.
Knit offers a powerful light engine packaged into a soft, thermoformed shade. Its design also integrates a distinctive power cord extending from the fixture's upper side for a unique look. Quadrant's shade comprises two rounded, interlocked panels, and a translucent white diffuser creates a soft ambient light. Designers can choose lit or unlit variations. Each luminaire is available in a range of felt colors.
All three luminaires are presented in the November/December issue of Architectural Products magazine.
